Using the latest in multimedia technology, CCLS has designed unique Spanish & English programs that effectively teach communication skills from day one of class. Students are encouraged to think and speak only in the language they are learning and avoid translations. Our highly qualified native fluent teachers have been specially trained to teach to speakers of other languages.

Classes are centered on the students who actively participate in a variety of activities each day. They learn how to communicate in everyday situations. In addition to their classes, students are encouraged to do extra practice in our lab stations to improve their speaking, listening/comprehension and grammar skills.

Our language programs target students with limited days for classes, so groups meet twice a week, three times a week, five days a week and weekends. Private, Corporate, Accent Reduction, Immersion, Conversation classes are also available. We offer specific programs for adolescents and adults.

Our Programs

Regular Program - OWCC - Oral & Written Communication Course: This Integrated Skills Program emphasizes oral communication, but the student will also learn grammar and written exercises. The focus of the program is on the target language being used for general, day-to-day purposes or for socialization.

Tailor-made Program

We customize programs for executives and professionals from major corporations. These programs focus on special purposes such as TOEFL Preparation, English, Spanish or Portuguese for Finances, Management, Public Speaking, etc. Also, they may include company-specific vocabulary and terminology.

Business English Program

Through the use of up-to-date authentic materials, TV Commercials, etc., this program leads the learners to increase their communication skills in practical business-oriented situations.

Short-term Immersion programs

To build up a solid foundation, this program includes lessons of General Purposes combined with lessons of Specific Purposes, as well as some grammar-awareness sessions. The program may include visits to places of the student's interest.

CCLS - Regular Program

Way Ahead - Getting Started (GS1, 2 and 3) - this course guides students to an active assimilation of American English. Students learn structures and vocabulary of formal and informal American English through real life situation dialogues. These dialogues serve as the basis for subsequent classroom work.

Students learn both spoken and written English and the appropriate language for different situations.

Way Ahead - On the Move (OM1, 2 and 3) - This course is a follow-up to the Way Ahead - Getting Started. This course includes TV programs and commercials to give students further contact with natural forms of expression, thereby enriching their learning experience.

Way Ahead - To the Top (TT1, 2 and 3) - This course is a follow up to the series Way Ahead - On the Move. This course includes TV programs and commercials as well as newspaper and magazines articles to give students further contact with natural forms of expression, thereby enriching their learning experience.
